节目在刚开始的时候会通过挑盲盒的形式将所有的嘉宾分成两个小组。在第1期节目当中，第1小组的4个嘉宾分别是钟汉良、王勉、萧敬腾、张真源。这4个嘉宾会通过抽盲盒的形式来展开自己在节目当中的挑战。

节目当中的所有挑战形式在节目开始之前，不仅所有的嘉宾和观众不知道，连主持人也提前不知道所有环节的具体事项。故事当中的很多装置和环节设置都让大家的思绪可以快速的回到许多年之前。在节目组的设定当中，所有人都可以身临其境的感受曾经的年代氛围。在节目当中满足了所有观众和嘉宾的好奇心，并且在不断的挑战当中逐渐引爆两个小组之间的巅峰对决，让观众看到嘉宾在台上的尽情表演还有在现场的随意发挥，让观众可以从多个方面重新认识自己喜欢的明星。
