节目的主要目的是为了挖掘和培养更多说唱方面的专业人才。在目前的说唱圈子当中非常急需一批优秀的说唱人才来填补目前的空白。爱奇艺为此专门成立的一个公司。在这个公司当中所有说唱方面的人才都可以加入其中，刚开始是进行一定的培训，在培训结束之后开始登台进行表演。在表演的过程当中还会根据舞台的表现和专业度进行一定的打分和评级。节目组会邀请非常多的嘉宾，这些嘉宾都是说唱方面的专业人才进入到节目组当中，针对选手的表现进行打分和点评。在嘉宾的点评当中，选手可以得到更多的成长，可以更加清楚的认识到自己在表演方面存在的不足之处，将这些缺点全部改进可以慢慢的成为一个说唱方面的专业人才
